The Tone Tablet is the first of our Saxophone accessory products and has been created to optimise the tonal output of your saxophone. This simple, discreet and non intrusive tablet is inserted into the lyre hole on your saxophone neck tenon and simply held in place once the lyre screw is tightened.

When the Tone Tablet is in place you will be amazed at the difference in how your horn feels, responds and how the overall tone is improved. It will feel more centred and secure in all registers with a fuller, richer, purer sound that is more stable and even, giving you greater projection and richer overtones. Nothing is taken away from the horn and all your original neck screws or alternative neck screws can be used with this product.

It can then simply stay in place. Made from specially sourced Silver Bullion the material in our registered and protected design Tone Tablet has the same quality and working properties as Sterling Silver.

We know what you're thinking....how can this make such a difference?

The Tone Tablet allows neck tenon vibrations an easier path to travel, consequently changing the vibrational response of your saxophone.

Nobody knows your sound better than you, so try one. You'll hear and feel the difference for yourself. Below is some more factual information about the Tone Tablet with some quotes and reviews from professional players who have used the tablet.

"I immediately noticed both in myself and in students that the tone is fuller, brighter, richer and punchier and more centred. The horn also feels more responsive and easier to play throughout the whole range. I am not one for gadgets, but this feels like a missing piece of the saxophone has been found - it is not a gadget!! - it is completing the instrument."

- Amy Gamlen - UK  (Senior Lecturer in Saxophone Leeds College of Music)

"I'm not one for gimmicks or short cuts when it comes to creating a better tone or improving the consistency of your sound and intonation on the saxophone, to me it's all about practise and working on a clear tone imagination. I've been a professional saxophonist for over 20 years and have played the same instruments for 18 of those years, so needless to say I know my horns strengths and their minor inconsistencies inside out. So, when the Corry Bros asked me to try their new 'Tone Tablet' I was sceptical that something so simple would or indeed could make any real difference to the sound or feel of my horns. I couldn't have been more wrong! After the simple installation of the sterling silver tablet into the lyre hole and the reinsertion of the lyre screw to secure it, I blew my saxophone. To my amazement I could hear and feel that my tone was immediately clearer, fuller and more consistent across the entire range of the horn, with further exploration revealing that incredibly all the intonation quirks I knew so well had been completely eradicated!

After 30 minutes, and in total disbelief of my own ears, I removed the Tone Tablet and played the horn again only to discover my ears really weren't lying. I immediately reinserted it and have never removed it since!! It truly makes your horn everything it could be. Absolute genius! Don't get me wrong, if you don't have a strong tone or good intonation already this won't cure that, but at least you'll know that your saxophone will be operating at it's full potential whilst your trying to achieve this. And if you're already a confident player this will just blow your mind! The best £15 you'll ever spend on your saxophone! Buy one now!!" - Joel Purnell - UK (Principal Lecturer in Saxophone Leeds College of Music)

"The Tone Tablet you sent me to try is unbelievable. I don't know why or how it works, but it really does! As soon as I put it in any of my horns, the difference is immediate and undeniable. The tone becomes more robust, with added texture and a more consistent core. Even more than that though, it seems to iron out any quirks in the way the horn responds, giving greater consistency of response across the entire instrument. It centres every note. This is a must-have item for any saxophonist. I've been really happy with my set up for some time now and the tone tablet just takes what I already love and makes it better! Thank you Corry Bros!!" - Simon Kaylor - UK (Award winning saxophonist and Senior Lecturer in Saxophone Leeds College of Music)

"When Corry Bros asked me to try out their new Tone Tablet I’ll admit I had my reservations. A piece of kit that is so small and discreet (less than a cm in height) I couldn't imagine how it may affect my sound let alone improve it. Tightening it into the lyre screw void on my tenor I was soon proved very wrong. Right from the first note I blew my tone seemed more focused, centred with an improved resonance from bottom Bb and up into the altissimo register. Partly down to the perceptible improvement to the syllabance of my sound. I also felt a subtle enhancement in the feedback and response of my instrument. A confidence boosting element to the tone tablet, notes were more secure and the saxophone responded with a greater clarity of sound. Continuous A/B testing on sessions and shows proved it wasn't just a placebo effect and the tone tablet now has a permanent place in my setup on all of my saxes. Up until now I’ve only tried the sterling silver Tone Tablet but I look forward to trying the other materials currently under test with Jim and Paul. I feel this product is in no way a fix to a poor tone, for me it seems best to see it as an enhancement tool. This is a very subtle product from the Corry Bros that packs a punch far greater than its weight." - James Russell UK (Jamiroquai Saxophonist)

"The Corry Bros Tone Tablet is somewhat of a miracle. I never thought that a device so small could make such a big difference other than what my personal mouthpiece can do already. This half inch Tone Tablet does exactly what it says it does and more, it's amazing and I now won't perform without it. My saxophone sings more than it ever did, total perfection. This is where science and music unify and play in perfect harmony"    Tony Kofi (award winning UK saxophonist)

"I do like the Tone Tablet. It always amazes me that something so small would make a difference" - Jerry Bergonzi

"This small masterpiece, discrete and easy to position is incredible! Beyond enriching the sound and bringing more harmonics, the transmission of highs notes (and altíssimo) is increased and the homogeneity of the instrument is incredible. THE indispensable object for your instrument. it will help you to improve your game and your sound, and the relationship between the registers is wonderfull.  thanks a lot to the Corry Bros!" Baptiste Herbin (award winning French Jazz Virtuoso)

"I'm playing with The Tone Tablet for a month now and I can't play anymore without it. I can't believe that this small piece makes my saxophone sound have such a very big difference. ESSENTIAL!" Rosario Giuliani (Rome Italy)

"The Tone Tablet is proof of how something so small can make such a big difference...it makes my Mark VI feel, blow and sound better - rich in harmonics. I couldn't live without it now" James Mainwaring (Roller Trio)

"I use the Silver Tone Tablet on my Mark VI these days" - Bob Reynolds USA

"I use the Tone Tablet and find it really good for focus and clarity" - Will Vinson USA

"It's amazing what a difference such a tiny piece of silver can make! - Ben Wendel USA

"Recent advances in our understanding of the acoustic issues of saxophones have seen the arrival of many new add-ons to your saxophone, but these Corry Bros Tone Tablets are remarkable. As well as being very discreet visually, they make an instant and astounding difference to the way the saxophone feels and sounds. The response across the range is immediately more balanced, and stability is hugely improved. The low range of the instrument responds in a much more consistent way, altissimo is stabalised, and the wholeinstrument feels alive. The science is frankly beyond me, but this is no voodoo - Highly rcommended" Rob Buckland (Professor of Saxophone and Director of Saxophone Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music UK)
